Joanne Hoban

Joanne comes from a varied background having studied History and Politics in UCD studying for a Masters Degree in 2004. Joanne trained with the Firm of Frank Ward and Company qualifying as a Solicitor in 2001 and continued to work in General Practice for several years before founding her Practice JC Hoban & Company in January 2005. Joanne has a wide range of experience including Property Law which has been the cornerstone of her practice and has been extremely important in the context of advising in other related areas and in particular in the context of family law. She also provides advice in relation to Estate Planning, Probate matters and Enduring Powers of Attorney. She is prize-winning graduate of the Law Society Diploma in Trusts and Estate Management in 2022 and is proud to become a Trusts and Estate Practitioner.

Anne Kelly

Anne studied English at UCD achieving a Bachelor of Arts in 1988. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 and received a Diploma in Property Tax in 1995. She has been the Principal Solicitor at Paul Kelly and Company Solicitors since 1988 until December 2022 when the new Practice of Kelly Hoban Solicitors LLP was founded. Anne has wide ranging experience in general practice with a particular interest in Conveyancing both residential and commercial, probate and wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Siobhan Walsh

Siobhan and Joanne have worked side by side since February 2015, having previously worked in legal for ten years. She is a graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology and in 2008 obtained a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Institute of Commercial Management, London. She has extensive experience in conveyancing and probate. Throughout the years she has dealt with all manner of conveyancing transactions from new builds, second hand homes to dealing with Receivers, acting for Local Authorities and review of title for Auction. She also has vast experience in title rectification and a special interest in complex title review, possessory applications and first registration. Siobhan deals with the day to day running of sales, purchase and re-mortgages, from initial instruction to completion. With her approach Siobhan ensures that problems are dealt with efficiently which enable matters to complete in a timely manner. In Probate, she has dealt with straight forward executor applications to intestate applications, foreign domicile applications and dealing with wills in a foreign language.

Ciara Seager

Ciara’s previous background was in the tourism and events industry, and she holds a Degree in Marketing and Event Management from Dublin Business School. Ciara began her role as legal secretary to Anne Kelly in 2019.

In addition to her duties as Anne’s secretary Ciara is part of the reception team and assists with the day to day running of the office.
